For this project in Greenfield, Indiana, our crew helped a homeowner say goodbye to endless weed-pulling by converting a tired mulched corner bed into a durable river rock landscape. Rather than relying on standard weed fabric, which can break down and let weeds creep through over time, our team installed a heavy-duty plastic sheeting base beneath the rock layer for long-lasting weed prevention. We carried this same approach into the side yard, where we removed a dead tree, cleared out overgrown vegetation, cleanly edged the garden bed, and laid down river rock over the reinforced barrier. We turned a neglected, high-upkeep area into a clean, low-maintenance space.

Beyond the rock installation, our team gave the entire property a thorough refresh. We trimmed back bushes and shrubs that had grown out over the driveway, cleared weeds from the surrounding beds, and worked through the backyard to thin and shape the shrubs for a tidier, more polished look. The result is a yard that's not only more visually appealing from the driveway to the backyard, but one the homeowner can actually enjoy without the constant maintenance.
